    Ben Kogan Band

    Ben Kogan is a NYC musician who started making music as a teenager and hasn't stopped. The band’s hybrid Americana style has been described as “jamgrass” and Townes van Zandt-evoking folk. Their eclectic sound, steeped in Appalachian mountain music and the blues, takes its influences from Bill Monroe and Grateful Dead. The Ben Kogan Band provides a fresh take on traditional bluegrass compositions with soulful originals, pulsing bass lines, introspective lyrics and contagious melodies. Check them out here.

    “We’re gonna break out the hats and hooters” and celebrate the eccentric genius of one of rock’s favorite bands, as interpreted by CNY Songbirds Donna Colton, Maureen Henesey, and Joanna Jewett. The show also features musicians Kristopher Heels, Frank Neubert, Jim O’Mahony, Melissa Gardiner, Sam Paterelli, Jeff Stockham and Don Williams. The doors open at 4pm and the show starts at 5pm.
